About Us
Fresh out of college I became a banker because I needed a job. I enjoyed helping people, but decided that I wanted to own my own business so I used my vacation time to take insurance classes. I passed the tests, got my license and started selling a few policies in the evenings and on weekends. That kept up until I had developed a clientele large enough that I thought that i could make it a full-time business, I rented an office and the business has continued to grow from there.
Our Story
I've been working the front desk at the Insurance Store of Carthage since 2018. In 2020 I acquired my Property and Casualty Insurance License to better serve our customers. It is my goal to work closely with clients to ensure they have the appropriate insurance coverage for their unique needs.
Jillian Prier
I was born and raised in Carthage and have lived here all but six years of my life. I am married to Kerry, a retired Kindergarten teacher, and have two children and two grandchildren. I am very active at The Bridge - a Christian Church here in Carthage. If I'm not at the office, you can probably find me on a golf course somewhere.
